According to the announcement of Fanduel Group last Thursday, it plans to launch FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ this September 2022. This will give its users a chance to watch live sports and play daily fantasy sports contests at the same time. This will be a huge move for the company, as it looks to expand its reach beyond the online space.

FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ Launch

FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will become the pioneer of a “linear/digital network dedicated to sports wagering content and delivering more live sports programming than any other network in America.”

According to FanDuel Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Raffensperger, “FanDuel TV is the first network designed from the ground up to be watched by viewers with their phone in hand.”

“We intend for FanDuel TV to sit at the intersection of live sports and interactive content and believe Kay is the best example of an on-air talent who can bring fans closer to the narratives of the games they care about most. Our goal is to provide fans compelling programming to watch and wager on in tandem with our mobile app.”

On the other hand, FanDuel+ will be available through direct-to-consumer OTT platforms like Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku. It will also be available for free if you already have an account on FanDuel’s online sportsbook, horse racing, casino, or daily fantasy sports platform.

Live Sports at FanDuel TV

The iGaming giant has already secured a deal with Sportradar which includes being the home of international basketball in the US.

As a result of the deal, FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will broadcast 3,000+ hours of action-packed live sporting events like the international basketball leagues. This includes the Chinese Basketball League, French and German pro leagues, and even Australia’s professional league, the National Basketball League (NBL).

FanDuel TV Network Hosts

It is expected that a jam-packed lineup of personalities will join FanDuel TV. It’s already been announced that Kay Adams will have a morning show “Los Angeles FanDuel TV studio” five days a week at 11 AM ET. Adams is one of the well-known hosts on the NFL Network as she headlines the show “Good Morning Football”.

Bill Simmons, Pat McAfee, and Lisa Kerney will also be part of the team together with horse racing and live sports programming experts.

“Having proven on-air talent, live content from the most influential name in sports media in Pat McAfee and the industry’s best team covering horse racing today demonstrates that FanDuel TV will be a dynamic network from day one.”

FanDuel as a Top Sportsbook Choice

In the United States, FanDuel is one of the top sportsbook choices. It’s a trustworthy brand that’s licensed in multiple states. Plus, it consistently offers strong odds and a great selection of bets.

Recently, it becomes the first sportsbook to report a profitable quarter and Fanduel’s CEO claims that Fanduel already had a 51% market share in US sports betting.
