While not a promotion per se, we should also mention the rewards program offered by BetRivers’ parent company, Rush Street Interactive. All you need to do is bet, earn points and climb the ladder.

Most Indiana sportsbooks have cottoned onto the fact that the sign-up process needs to be as quick and as straightforward as possible, anything other than that and potential customers will get ticked off and join somebody else.

Now for some critique. We have to report that the BetRivers apps for Apple and Android aren’t quite up to scratch, in the sense that they seem riddled with bugs and gremlins. Pages freeze or refuse to load, live streams are saddled with lagging and, on rare occasions, you will be ‘kicked out’ of the app altogether.

Our experience tallies with many that have posted reviews on the various stores, so we hope that BetRivers Indiana takes the hint and re-builds their apps soon.

We tested out BetRivers’ customer support team and can report a positive review in both cases. Our email was responded to within an hour, which is pretty good going for what must surely be a very busy office. Even better, the live chat response came within ten minutes, with our query solved just a couple of minutes later.

The only way to compare odds is to get hands-on and see how BetRivers performs in specific markets compared to their main rivals. For that, we use an NBA game (in this case Cleveland Cavaliers at Toronto Raptors) and Super Bowl futures.

For the Raptors vs Cavaliers, BetRivers didn’t get close to two rivals – BetMGM and FanDuel – when it came to the moneyline odds, while in the spread lines they were joint market best with their -110 position on +/-5.

As far as the total points line is concerned, BetRivers went with one of the higher options of over/under 215, but they offered decent odds of -112 (overs) and -110 (under). Coming to their Super Bowl futures, there’s good and bad news.

The good news is that they were the co-best price for the two market leaders – Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams. The downside? It means that the rest of their odds suffer, so they are less competitive for those selections further down the pecking order.
